Che Paul McCartney fosse stato nominato  25 anni fa uno dei più grandi ed influenti cantautori della storia della musica lo sapevamo già, che fosse megalomane e sicuro del fatto suo anche. Ma di certo non ci aspettavamo che si autocelebrasse a tal punto da far interpretare le sue migliori canzoni ai migliori musicisti/leggende viventi del mondo. The Art of Paul McCartney è  un cofanetto in uscita a novembre che contiene  42 cover di brani di Sir Paul dall’epoca dei Beatles  ma anche Wings sino a brani più recenti della sua carriera da solista. Il primo brano ad essere rilasciato  è Hello Goodbye coverizzato dai Cure che non registravano nuovo materiale dal 2008.
